Position Overview:

Genpact is inviting applications for the role of Processing Associate (PA) for Insurance Claims. In this capacity, you will play an integral role in transitioning and stabilizing client processes, specifically focusing on handling insurance claims-related functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficient understanding of healthcare claim processing and medical terminologies
  • Accurate input of information including personal details, provider information, invoice details, procedure & impairment codes
  • Swift and appropriate action on alerts related to members and providers
  • Identification and resolution of duplicate claims
  • Exceptional customer service approach to clearly communicate resolutions
  • Handling high volumes of work within set targets and deadlines
  • Demonstrating and nurturing traits of customer focus, collaboration, accountability, initiative, and innovation
  • Willingness to work night shifts (9:30 PM to 06:30 AM IST)
  • No fixed Saturday/Sunday off; follows a 5-day working culture with weekend shifts

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Graduation in Life Sciences (Biotechnology/ B.Pharma/ M.Pharma/ Biological science/ bio-medical science/ Micro-Biology/ Bioinformatics/ Nursing/ Botany or Zoology), or any non-technical graduate
  • Only freshers are eligible

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proficiency in using Excel and MS Access Database
  • Strong English language proficiency in both written and verbal communication
  • Experience in the health insurance sector is advantageous
