Position Summary
Are you eager to embark on a new journey alongside a vibrant team dedicated to advancing and interconnecting the world's infrastructure? Bentley is seeking a Software Engineer (Automation Development) to report directly to the Manager, Software Development. This full-time role, based in our Pune office, requires 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate within an Agile environment for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in Software Development.
- Develop new and existing Automation Frameworks and Tools for large enterprise applications.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new automation features and frameworks.
- Ensure Code Coverage of Automation and provide guidance to the Development + QA Team for increased Code Coverage.
- Participate in defect resolution and application enhancements.
- Upgrade and maintain existing software and web service tests.
- Work within a dynamic DevOps-oriented software development environment.
- Comprehend functionalities of web and desktop applications.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience
- B.E/MS in Computer Science & Engineering with 0-5 years' experience in Automation Tools Development.
- Proficiency in C++, C#, OOPS.
- Familiarity with Unit Testing tools, Mock Testing Tools, Code Coverage Tools.
- Understanding of Scenario and Integration Testing, WPF, Telerik.
- Strong debugging skills and knowledge of Design Patterns, Memory Management, and UML Diagrams.
- Analytical, problem-solving mindset with experience in automation tools like Test Complete, WinAppDriver.
- Experience in consuming Cloud Services and REST interfaces, Microsoft Azure, or related services.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum Development, Test Driven Development, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps processes.
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp a wide range of technologies and identify gaps in Automated Tests.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills across multiple functional areas.
