Job Description of CITI Recruitment
As a Business Analytics Analyst, you will:
- Monitor, assess, analyze, and evaluate processes and data.
- Identify policy gaps and formulate policies.
- Interpret data and make recommendations.
- Research and interpret factual information.
- Identify inconsistencies in data or results, define business issues, and formulate recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices.
- Integrate established disciplinary knowledge with a basic understanding of related industry practices.
- Develop working knowledge of industry practices and standards.
- Have a limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of tasks/services provided, with impact restricted to your own team.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to work with cross-functional partners and team members.
- Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Gather operational data from various cross-functional stakeholders to examine past business performance.
- Identify data patterns and trends, providing insights to enhance business decision-making capabilities in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment, etc.
- Recommend actions for future developments and strategic business opportunities, as well as enhancements to operational policies.
- Engage in exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis, and/or qualitative analysis.
- Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies, and clearly communicate findings to business partners and senior leaders.
- Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities.
- Work closely with internal and external business partners to build, implement, track, and improve decision strategies.
- Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhere to policy, and apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices. Manage and report control issues with transparency.
