Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting business analysts and developers with data subject expertise, query building, and optimization.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- BE/B.Tech/M.Tech
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling
- Strong SQL query-writing skills
- Strong analytical, profiling, and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Big Data/Hadoop platform
- Experience with Unix shell and Python
- Experience in data integration and data conversions
- Experience with ETL tools
- Experience with Autosys
- Experience with data visualization software (preferably Tableau)
- Experience with Data Modeling tools (preferably Power Designer)
- Basic familiarity with Collibra for maintaining a repository of Critical Data Elements
Responsibilities
- Data analysis, profiling, and sourcing
- Creating and reviewing Data Quality (DQ) rules
- Maintaining the Global Financial Crime (GFC) Critical Data Element list in the Enterprise Data Governance repository (Collibra)
- Understanding data definitions, domain values, data relationships, business rules, sources, and data integration for GFC Risk Assessments
- Translating business requirements into data models and ETL design specifications
- Assisting in ETL development, testing, and troubleshooting
- Troubleshooting data issues and working with data providers for resolution
