Requirements:
- Freshers with a background in Computer Science and interested in programming, system engineering, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of Windows & Linux systems including networking concepts.
- Preferred understanding of monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, New Relic, Pingdom, Sentry, TICK stack, etc.
- Preferred understanding of GIT, Bitbucket, or GitHub and the Features branching workflow.
- Preferred understanding of Amazon AWS (EC2, S3, CloudFront, Route53, RDS, autoscaling, ECS, Redshift).
- Preferred understanding of emerging DevOps tools (Spinnaker, Packer, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins).
- Understanding in Agile development environment.
- Strong sense of urgency and ownership over critical problem areas.
Job Responsibilities:
- LEARN leading technological stacks.
- MAINTAIN the business continuity by driving opportunities of making systems highly resilient.
- PROACTIVELY monitor and improve end-to-end system performance, identify bottlenecks and potential failures.
- PARTICIPATE in supporting a 24×7 rotation for production issue escalation, if needed.
- PARTNER with engineering & product teams to provide high available and reliable systems.
- WORK with the broader team to build and maintain high performance, flexible, and highly scalable web, and mobile-based applications.
- PERFORM technical root causes analysis and outline corrective action for given problems.
- ACHIEVE engineering excellence by implementing standard practices and standards.
