Job Description of Homelane Internship
We are looking for a Product Management Intern with the expertise and passion to imagine, build, and improve customer acquisition products. This role starts where our customers start – the point where they begin thinking about getting interiors done for their home. From that point on, until they sign up with HomeLane, is the journey that this leader will own. This is a high-growth opportunity and one that requires an entrepreneurial mindset. You will have full ownership and responsibility through the product life cycle from customer onboarding, feedback, product strategy, roadmap prioritization, development, and measurement of adoption.
Job Requirements
Required Skills
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Hands-on experience with Figma or Adobe Sketch
- Empathy-driven, with some awareness of the design thinking framework
- Ability to clearly define, articulate, and communicate user problems
Minimum Qualifications
- 3rd or 4th-year student in a Tier-1 Engineering/Management Institution
- Full-time internship for a duration of at least 14 weeks
Responsibilities
- Own the HomeLane website (mobile first and desktop) to create a WOW on-site experience
- Create scalable products (like the quote estimator or AI-enabled products leveraging our world-class interior design platform SpaceCraft) to add value to homeowners in the discovery phase of their home interiors journey
- Develop products and workflows to acquire leads more efficiently by collaborating with the Digital & Brand teams
- Own and improve the sales tools our designers and sales professionals use to meet and convert homeowners to customers
