Working with the sales team to understand project specifications and customer needs, and participating in job site walk-throughs.
Designing systems for standard facilities, which may include mechanical system layouts, electrical drawings, valve and damper schedules, and control panel layouts.
Interpreting and designing sequences of operations to identify hardware and logic requirements for systems.
Assisting with analyzing plans, construction contract specifications, and codes to determine project requirements and risks.
Selecting proper types and sizes of products.
Following up with sales and management to ensure job scope, specifications, and schematics meet customer needs.
Participating in sales to operations turnover meetings to evaluate the accuracy of estimates and job layouts.
Assisting in peer review for engineering documents.

Having a Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering.
Possessing strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Being able to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams.
Having strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
Being able to interpret customer requirements, identify needs, and resolve issues positively.
Being able to adapt to shifting demands and competing priorities from customers and internal partners to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
