About the Team
The DevEx team at Nutanix is passionate and close-knit, working on cutting-edge distributed systems technologies. You will have unlimited learning opportunities, including complex debugging, coding, and building serviceability tools, all with mentorship from experts. Our team operates in both India and the US.
Your Role
- Develop a deep understanding of complex distributed systems and debug customer production clusters in real time.
- Collaborate with development, test, documentation, and product management teams to enhance product quality.
- Engage with customers and support teams to solve production issues.
- Spend about 70% of your time reading existing code to debug customer-reported problems.
- Design and develop tools to debug issues faster and improve product serviceability.
What You Will Bring
- Strong analytical skills and good aptitude.
- Love for debugging and good code reading skills in C++, C, or Python.
- Experience in Linux with good troubleshooting skills.
- Passion for troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
- Team player who thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics.
- 0-2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with multi-threading and event-driven programming is a plus.
- Development experience in file systems, operating systems, database back-ends, or distributed systems management is a plus.
