About the Role
As an Apprentice SDET at Trellix, you will play a crucial role in developing cybersecurity products and solutions that contribute to our XDR strategy. You will be involved in designing new capabilities, enhancing existing features, and resolving customer issues. Additionally, you will utilize automation frameworks to ensure new product features are ready for deployment in critical customer environments. Identifying and addressing critical security vulnerabilities within widely used software will also be a key part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of cybersecurity products.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in customer deployments.
- Validate new product features using automation frameworks.
- Identify and fix security vulnerabilities, including publicly disclosed ones.
- Follow best practices in the software development lifecycle to ensure top-quality product delivery.
Eligibility Criteria
- Branch/Specialization: CS & IT
- Percentage/CGPA: 75% or 7.5 & above
- Graduation Year: 2022, 2023, 2024
Required Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Java, Golang, or Python.
- Good understanding of Data Structures and Database concepts.
- Sound knowledge of Network Protocols and Operating Systems.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exposure to Cloud technologies, Cyber Security, or Machine Learning is a plus.
