About the Role – Associate Engineer (SSD Software)
As an Associate Engineer in the SSD Software team, you will contribute to driver and tools development, validation of the software stack, and design of automation frameworks. Your work will impact functional teams such as firmware, validation, and quality engineering. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and debug C/C++ code for managing NVMe/SATA storage devices.
- Work with multiple operating systems like Windows, Linux, and FreeBSD.
- Implement and maintain APIs for 3rd party integrations, CLI/GUI/REST interfaces.
- Develop and issue vendor-specific NVMe/SATA commands for SSD operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for code reviews and DevOps processes.
- Design frameworks for efficient validation and automation processes.
Education & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science Engineering.
- CGPA of 7.0 and above.
- Freshers from 2023 and 2024 batches are eligible.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming.
- Experience with Python and understanding of storage devices (NVMe/SATA).
- Familiarity with Windows and UNIX/Linux environments.
- Good problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
- Experience with software development life cycle, DevOps, and testing frameworks (Jenkins, Git, Makefiles).
